New Business:

President Ralph Miller made a motion to pay our $200 Annual Membership Fee to Nytro, Inc. Roger Clark seconded it and all those present were in favor.

CPPNC had invited our club for a ride on the 13th of December with a donation of at least $5.00 per machine to go toward their Christmas Fund raiser to help the needy. Because of the time of the year and the unpredictable weather, Roger Clark made a motion that the club makes a donation of $25.00 towards this cause. Nancy Bouchard seconded the motion and all those present were in favor.

Our Membership Coordinator, Faron Cronk, advised us of the cost of our Club’s new ATV Stickers. It was agreed that we would only need 250 of these stickers at this time. In order for our members to receive a club ATV sticker they must provide us with a copy of their current and valid ATV Registration and Insurance Card for each of their ATV’s. Pat Miller made the motion for Faron to go ahead and order the stickers and Nancy Bouchard seconded it. All those present were in favor.

Our next meeting will be on Saturday the 13th of March at 1:00 PM. It will be held at the home of our new members Aretha & Roger Manchester. Directions will be sent closer to that date.

Roger Clark made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 pm and Aretha Manchester seconded the motion. All those present were in favor.

Topics of Discussion:

Our involvement with NYTRO, INC., Our future with Trail-pass, Scheduling of parade rides, planning more club rides, trail development, Adopt-a-Highway discussion, sponsor donations and much more. So come and catch up on the latest and enjoy good company. All members (and possible members) are welcome to our club meetings at any time.

July 16th to the 18th, 2004 / Our Brasher Falls Get-Away Weekend. Mark these dates down on your calendars for this year.  Our President, Ralph Miller, is working with the Riverside Campgrounds and will be looking to reserve our area for this weekend getaway. We want to reserve all the sites and pay one lump sum, no matter how many are on each site. Some folks, this past year, ended up double paying for each site for the additional people that were on their site and we have found this to not be fair. The club will be paying for the sites up front and those that come and stay will need to reimburse the club. There will be some folks going up on the 14th and staying until the 21st. The club will only be reserving the two nights, those being the 16th and 17th.  We will try to organize some Fund-raisers, this spring, to help the club come up with the fees so we can pay up front. Any person or persons interested in helping or having an idea on how we can raise this money, please let us know.

Club Tractor:

Our Club has a chance to receive a $500 advertising donation from Widrick’s Implements, after we paint the tractor and put their logo on it. This project did not get completed, last year, due to the lack of involvement and coordinating of this project. We will need to address this issue, early this spring.

Trail Pass:

This adventure is now on hold until later this spring. We are currently keeping an eye on these folks and how they handle themselves and situations that are brought to their attention, from other clubs who have joined them. Our trails officially close on the 1st of October and do not open until the 1st of April. Due to this, we have decided to try to work with some more landowners, throughout the winter, to try and create some more trail routes and plan our trail maintenance for this upcoming spring.

FAB’s Facts:

The club has come up with a membership club sticker. These stickers will be for your ATV, so everyone will know what club you belong to and that you are a member in good standings with this club. Plus it looks like it will eventually become a requirement for everyone to belong to some club in order to ride the trails that are developed for ATV’s. You will have to provide the club with a Copy of your valid Registration and Insurance Card for each of “Your” ATV’s that you need a sticker for.

It’s time for our annual membership renewal drive to get under way. Now is the time that this club really needs your support. Renewing your membership will keep this club alive and continuing to grow and move forward into the future. Enclosed you will find an “Orange” card that has all the information that your club needs for their records. This information is very important to the club’s record keeper. Please fill out as much information as you can and also print clearly, so we don’t make any mistakes translating the information into our records.

If you are renewing as a “Single Membership” then check the line that is marked “Single” and put your birth date on the first line under the section “List Family Members with Birth-Dates”. Then make out a check or money order payable to “NYTRO of NNY” for the amount shown and drop it in the mail. If you are renewing as a “Family Membership” then check the line that is marked “Family” and put your birth date on the first line under the section “List Family Members with Birth-Dates” and then list each of your family members under your name with their birth dates also. Then make out a check or money order payable to “NYTRO of NNY” for the amount shown and drop it in the mail.

Also remember to send us a “copy” of your “valid” Registration and Insurance Card for each ATV sticker that you mark on the Renewal Form in the space where the question is asked, “How Many Club Stickers Do You Need?” We will need a copy of each and every Registration and Insurance Card in order to hand out these club stickers. And yes they are included in the cost of your membership renewal.
