| President’s Corner:
Dear Fellow Members: As
of to date, our club has participated in three parades. May 30th, we rode
in the Lacona Firemen’s Parade. On June 14th, at 12:00 noon, we rode in
the Orwell Old Home Day’s Parade and in the evening of that same day, we
rode in the Belleville Firemen’s Parade. Some folks got a little wet at
a couple of these parades, but all in all a good time was had by all and
your club was well represented. At the Lacona Firemen’s Parade, David Beyer
(aka – The Cowboy) even had his trailer loaded up with six four-wheelers
and we had our Club Banner displayed down the side of his trailer. Our
float looked real impressive. We still have more parades planned for this
summer in both Oswego and Jefferson Counties. Keep your eyes open on our
upcoming rides/events section of your newsletter for all the up to date
details. If you’re interested in riding at any of the parades and need
more info, you can always contact me at 387-3589 or you can call “The Fab
One” at 387-6396.
July 2nd: Our fellow ATVer’s from the Oswego County ATV Club are looking for a helping hand with signing some of their trails. They will be meeting at Little Lukey’s on Route 13 in the Village of Altmar between 6:00 and 6:15 pm. If you have the time and need more info you can call their President Steve Cronk at 298-3312. July 15th: Jefferson County Parade
in Watertown, New York. We are currently looking into the particulars with
regards to this parade. We do know that is will be starting at 7:00 pm
that evening. As soon as we get more info, we will get the word out to
our members as soon as possible.
July 19th: The Oswego County ATV Club will be having a Fund Raising Pig Roast at the Altmar Hotel in the Village of Altmar. This event will kick off at 1:00 pm until ?? If you need more info or direction you can call Steve Cronk at 298-3312. July 31st: Our 2ND Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up Evening. We will need at least 10 members (if not more) to walk along our stretch of Route 11 from Mannsville to the Jefferson County Line. This is about a 2-mile walk and should go easier and quicker than the first clean-up, cause those folks got the worst of the garbage from what was left after the winter months. We will meet at the home of our President Ralph Miller at 5:45 pm. Need more info or directions call Ralph at 387-3589 or you can call “The Fabulous One” at 387-6396. August 16th: Pamelia Community Day’s Parade in Pamelia, New York. Line up for this parade will be at 6:00 pm and the parade will get started at 7:00 pm. Our VP and Secretary will be looking into getting us some more information on this parade, in regards to where we can load and unload our machines and just as soon as they do we will get the word out to our members. We are also looking at getting into the Pulaski, Redfield and Williamstown Firemen’s Parades. As soon as we can get some concrete information as to the particulars, we will let our club members know. If any club member can coordinate any other rides or events and would like to get the info out to our members all that you have to do is drop “The Fabulous One” an email, letter or call him and he will get the word out as soon as possible. Keep looking to your Newsletter and especially to this section for more Rides/Events soon to come.
FAB’S FACTS! Membership Renewals: We currently have some members who have not renewed
as of yet. This may be due to them not receiving our notice or that we
may not have received their return, instead. We are listing those members
below and if there are any errors on our behalf we would like those members
to get in touch with our Membership Coordinator at (315) 387-6396 and we
will work them out.
The club’s board of officers voted on giving these members one last chance to renew their membership into this club. They have extended their chance to August 1, 2003. These members can still keep their club membership current if and only if they contact our Membership Coordinator to make arrangements for payment at (315) 387-6396 or by email to fabulous1@citlink.net. Or they can send $15 Single Membership or $25 Family Memberships by check made out to NYTRO of NNY and mail it to us at NYTRO of NNY P.O. Box 355 Mannsville, N.Y. 13661. We want to always allow our members the chance to stay with this club, but it would be unfair to the others, who have already paid their re-newels, to allow others to take this long to update their memberships. Please contact our Membership Coordinator on whether or not you plan on staying with this club. THANK-YOU. |
